9-1-2020 State Primary & 11-3-2020 Presidential/State Election Information

9-1-2020 Mailer Cover

On Tuesday, August 18, 2020 all households received the attached mailer detailing the new polling location for all three precincts, which will be Palmer River Elementary School - Gymnasium - 326 Winthrop Street (Route 44).  The mailer also included important COVID-19 changes to the election process, an In-Person Early Voting schedule for both the September and November Elections along with other helpful election information and deadlines.

For those voters who are voting in the September 1, 2020 State Primary, below please find the four (4) sample ballots for your review.  If you are an Unenrolled/Independent voter, when requesting a mail-in ballot, voting during a In-Person Early Voting session, or voting In-Person at Palmer River Elementary on Election Day, you will need to choose one of the four ballot types for the 9-1-2020 State Primary Election (Democratic, Green-Rainbow, Libertarian or Republican).  The four Sample Ballots appear below under Attachments.  If you are registered as a Democrat, Republican, Green-Rainbow or Libertarian, you will only be able to vote that party ballot at the September 1, 2020 State Primary.

PLEASE NOTE Ballots for the November 3, 2020 Election will not be printed by the State until the September 1, 2020 Primary has concluded and the election certified.  We have been informed by State Elections that we should expect to receive the printed November 3, 2020 Presidential/State Election ballots, for those who have requested mail-in or absentee ballots, by the first week of October.  Once we receive the November 3, 2020 Ballots, we will send them out to all voters who requested mail-in ballots or absentee ballots.

Thank you for voting - please stay healthy and safe!
