There are two underground inspections required.

1.  6 inches of stone dust/sand on the bottom of the trench, pipes placed on the stone dust/sand.

2.  10 inches of stone dust/sand on top of pipes, caution tape placed 8 inches from finish.

The whole trench must be left open for tape inspection which is the final inspection.
