Town Clerk's Report on Polling Location Change

The report below is required by MGL to be posted on the Town Website at least 3-days prior to the Board of Selectmen voting on the moving of a polling place.  The document below (attachment) will be discussed and voted on Monday, August 10, 2020.

August 11, 2020 Update - the Board of Selectmen voted last night to designate the Palmer River Elementary School Gymnasium as the “Official” Polling Location for Precincts 1, 2, and 3 for the upcoming Tuesday, September 1, 2020 State Primary Election and the Tuesday, November 3, 2020 Presidential Election.  The Town Clerk’s Report on Polling Location Change has been up on the Town Website @ https://www.town.rehoboth.ma.us/home/news/town-clerks-report-polling-location-change since last Wednesday, August 5, 2020.  We will be notifying the voters, by way of an informational mailer (mailed to each household), with important information for the 9-1-2020 Election and 11-3-2020 Election (New Voting Precinct Information – Mail-In Ballot Applications – In-Person Voting Schedule – What to know about voting on Election Day during a COVID-19 Pandemic).  The mailer will also be posted on the Town website when printed and mailed.
