Announcements – June 2, 2026 Annual Town Meeting
Due to the length of Town Meeting, the Moderator asked the following announcements be published on Rehoboth's Town Website and Cable Channel. Please see the upcoming announcements below:
- The Health and Human Services Department will be holding a Blood Drive on June 29th, 2026, from10AM – 3:30PM. The drive will be hosted by the Massachusetts General Brigham Hospital and the Kraft Family Blood Donor Center, a mobile unit that will be located directly in front of the Heritage Museum Hall. Flyers will be posted in the Town Hall, Taylor-Miller WellFit Center, Health and Human Services Building (1st Floor) and the COA Vestibule. For those with a mobile phone, there is a QR Code that will take you directly to the link to schedule your appointment. If you need assistance scheduling your appointment, or have any further questions, please call the H&HS Interim Director, Elizabeth Doyle at (774) 654 2910.
- Rehoboth Agricultural Fair and Historical Commission’s Antique Tractor Show will be Saturday September 26th from 10am-4pm. At Redway Plain and Grear field.
- Upcoming Children's Book Sale at the Blanding Library - June 9 - June 11, 10 am-8 pm (or until books are gone) Gently used books for children of all ages, $4.00/bag Bring your own or grab one here. Adults must be accompanied by a child. Proceeds benefit The Friends of the Blanding Library.
- The Carpenter Museum Strawberry Festival is Sunday, June 7th. Join us for a day of hands-on activities, demonstrations of historic crafts and more at the Carpenter Museum, rain or shine. This event is free and open to the public. We are still looking for donated baked goods for the festival bake sale. If you are interested in making something, please call or email the museum at director@rehobothantiquarian.org. Baked goods can be dropped off at the Museum Friday June 5th 9AM-4PM or Saturday June 6th 1-4PM.

- Lecture at the Carpenter Museum - Family Ties & Industrial Bonds:The Partnership of Brown, Almy, and Slater
- Wednesday June 24th @6:30PM Join the Carpenter Museum and National Park Service Ranger Allison Horrocks to explore the early New England history of industrialization and textile mills. This event is free and open to the public and will be held in the Tilton Room at the Carpenter Museum, 4 Locust Avenue.
- Children's Felting Workshop - Saturday July 11th @1030AM - Free program, hosted at the Blanding Public Library
- Rehoboth Flag Contest - The Veterans office approached the Selectman back in the fall of 2025, asking the Selectman for their approval to move forward on having a contest for redesigning a new flag for our town of Rehoboth, which they approved. All inquiries will come through the Director of Veteran Services office telephone number 508-252-4467 or you can e-mail veterans@rehobothma.gov and put in the “suject” Rehoboth flag. AI is encourage and all formats must be in a jpeg or pdf format. No others will be accepted. The deadline has been set for the 4th of July in 2027 and will be voted on in the fall 2027 Fall Special Town Meeting.
