Utility Customers Scam Alert

ATTENTION REHOBOTH RESIDENTS

It has been brought to our attention that residents may be receiving spam calls from either National Grid or Eversource (formerly Columbia Gas).  Callers are posing themselves as employees of the utility companies and the caller I.D. may even say "National Grid" or "Eversource."   We are asking our residents to be vigilant and if the situation presents itself, please do not provide any personal information to the caller.  To verify if the call is authentic, ask the caller for your account number, if they cannot provide that to you, disconnect the call.

For help, you can call the number on your monthly invoice to report the incident to the appropriate utility company or you may visit ngrid.com/scam or reach out to Eversource by calling 800-592-2000 or visit Eversource.com.  You may also visit the Utilities United Against Scams websites.

Thank you and be safe!
