From the Public Health Nurse

  1. COVID-19 infections continue to be a concern in our community. Many of use are so tired of the restrictions the COVID-19 virus has placed on us, but I am hopeful that if one is, OR is in the presence of an, immunocompromised person, one would wear a mask.
  2. Social distancing is also recommended for the above scenario, that is, maintaining a distance of 6 feet or greater
  3. Hand washing has always been the most helpful way to help prevent the spread of any infection!
  4. Stay home if you are sick
  5. There are free COVID-19 in home tests kits available today. They are wrapped in packets of two boxes, which equal a total of 4 test. Please take only one packet so that all might have some!
  6. Attached to the packet wrapping is an introduction to the new Public Health Nurses and a list if the services and support groups. The goal of the Public Health Nurse is to branch out to the care of young families. We hope to host a wellness fair in mid-October, keep an eye out for further information on the town web site @ rehobothma.gov/public-health-nurse
